Minster Lodge, September 2023

I rented Minster Lodge for a hen weekend I organised. It was easily one of the best and most cost effective in the area. The property is absolutely beautiful and was a pleasure to stay in. It is also very well placed to be in the surrounding countryside of York while only a 15/20 minute drive from the centre making it amazing for events like hen dos. And with so much parking it made having 16 people come from across the country a much easier undertaking for all.

Everything was in amazing condition, including the hot tub we had access to. There was a lot of kitchen space for everything we brought (including 2 big fridge/freezers). The lounge was also the perfect size for 16 people and made for a lovely gathering space. The cleanliness was fantastic, and we were equipped with cleaning materials and plenty of loo roll. Even with the other proeprties on site having other guests in, it was wonderfully peaceful and we heard nothing of the others.

Finally, the customer service was also fabulous. I had extremely pleasant encouters with three different people from Villa Farm on site, over the phone and by email.
