Lovely stay with the family. Plenty of space and good cooking facilities. Hot tub was very warm and clean. Also, very good value for money. I would definitely stay again.

Blossom Cottage was perfect for us. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, kitchen well appointed, internet easy, plenty hot water, off-load baggage at the cottage door and then just a short 50m to the car park. Heaven for our dog, an 11 year old Golden Retriever, he has lived all his life by the sea, swimming and walking at the beach. Instincts cut in immediately when we walked in the fields and woods outside our door, pheasants, rabbits, and squirrels all around, I’ve rarely seen him so happy. The grounds of the site are immaculate and I enjoyed chatting to the groundsman in the mornings, he keeps the place looking very tidy. Overall 10/10.

Just enjoyed a lovely family break away. Roman Cottage has everything you may need and a lovely bonus by way of the hot tub. Close to lots of restaurants and take aways so no need to cook. Particularly great for a family games night with a huge table.

I rented Minster Lodge for a hen weekend I organised. It was easily one of the best and most cost effective in the area. The property is absolutely beautiful and was a pleasure to stay in. It is also very well placed to be in the surrounding countryside of York while only a 15/20 minute drive from the centre making it amazing for events like hen dos. And with so much parking it made having 16 people come from across the country a much easier undertaking for all.

Everything was in amazing condition, including the hot tub we had access to. There was a lot of kitchen space for everything we brought (including 2 big fridge/freezers). The lounge was also the perfect size for 16 people and made for a lovely gathering space. The cleanliness was fantastic, and we were equipped with cleaning materials and plenty of loo roll. Even with the other proeprties on site having other guests in, it was wonderfully peaceful and we heard nothing of the others.

Finally, the customer service was also fabulous. I had extremely pleasant encouters with three different people from Villa Farm on site, over the phone and by email.

Great 2 bedroom cottage – clean and comfy, everything you need in the cottage, safe parking, great outdoor space. Easy access to York shopping and eating out. Highly recommended for a York break and perfect for groups sharing a number of cottages.

I’ve stayed here a number of times now, along with my dog, and it never disappoints- from cleanliness’s to quality to comfort. You will have all you need for a lovely break including lovely comfortable beds and beautiful grounds to explore. It’s a great location for exploring York being on the bus route into the centre, as well as the rest of Yorkshire – you can easily get out to say Thirsk or Pocklington as well as the coast. I will certainly be coming back!
